Introducing GID Spam Detector

Just under a week old, and GIDBlog.com has already attracted the comment spammers once again. So this morning I decided I need to fix this before I do anything else.

Introducing GID Spam Detector, a custom WordPress plugin I have started to develop for this site to keep the comment spammers away.

Right now, the script (plugin) is just gathering data, or in “learning” mode, and not blocking any spam yet. Hopefully, all that will change over the next couple of days and I can be free from all these pesky spammers once and for all.

GID Spam Detector has a sense of humour – it did not mark your comment as Spam. 🙂

Thank you for testing it out, Thomas.
